A long weekend

It's my winter vacation next week. I'm not traveling anywhere, just staying in the city and basically having a nine day weekend from now. It's not to a super great start, since I've come down with a head cold (again, the last one was three weeks ago, ugh). I'm not too miserable, though, and already feeling better than in the morning, so hopefully it'll be mostly gone in a couple of days.
I'm planning on going to see a couple of museum exhibits and movies that have caught my eye. Most definitely we're going to see Captain Marvel on Wednesday with my sister. Other than that, I'll probably watch more Babylon Berlin and make a progress with my knitting (these are related bc I knit while watching tv), read more books, and write more.
About writing, this week was kind of a wash so far, since I was very busy and also coming down with the cold. I also seem to be having a very busy spring in general at work, which is why I'm reconsidering whether to claim at the Cap RBB. There's a lot of great art submitted, but I don't want to claim just to realize I'll be unable to finish, I'd like to not cause stress for the artist. Of course the word count required isn't too much, but all my ideas related to the art are longer than the 5k. I'll think about it, I might wait a bit tomorrow to see if they have a need for writers and claim then. That would also let me avoid waking up at 5AM.
