I'll see how this goes, it seems fun. I'm not going to take any pressure and will skip the challenges that'll take more time than I can spare. I was very busy in December, and while I'm less so now in January, I'm kind of recovering and feeling a bit listless. This'll help me actually do something other than just stare at the void of Internet:D
The theme of day 1 is a happy place, somewhere that gives me joy, calms me down, or keeps me sane, and it is kind of two fold thing for me. First, it's my home. I like spending time at home, and while my apartment isn't perfect by any means (I'm looking for a new one actually), it's still a place where I'm content and comfortable, and where I spend a significant amount of time. I write mostly at home, I read here, I hang out with my friends, I do yoga (I've found out that the more I cut the tangential effort, the more likely I'm to do exercise, hence youtube yoga at home) etc.
Secondly, almost anywhere can be a happy place for me, it just needs a right atmosphere, it needs to help me to achieve a certain kind of calmness. It can be the city at night or in the rain, it can be a forest trail, it can be a park, it can be a train. Somewhere I can look out to the open sea always works, it's like rebooting my brain.
That was it for today, we'll see how many others I'll do. Below is a link if you want to take part in the challenge too:
